ISG Provider LensTM Gives Enterprise Clients a Closer Look at Cloud Services

Information Services Group (ISG), a leading global technology research and advisory firm, named NTT Communications (NTT Com) a leader in the ISG Provider LensTM Infrastructure & Data Center/Private Cloud Quadrant Report, published in June 2018. ISG additionally names NTT Com a product challenger in the categories of Managed Services & Transformation (Global and U.S.) and U.S. Colocation.

ISG highlighted several key strengths that earned NTT Com’s positioning in the leader quadrant. Utilizing the NTT cloud brand to represent the unification of NTT Com’s and Dimension Data’s cloud offerings to enable faster platform innovation, expanded connectivity options including SD-WAN, as well as access to private cloud and cloud native services for clients.

NTT Com confirmed plans to target the Hybrid IT space and leverage their combined footprint of 400,000 square meters of data center space and their robust Tier- 1 IP network, offering customers end-to-end management of their infrastructure, as well as ease of migration from on-premises hosting to their cloud IaaS, and data center migration.

To further enhance our cloud services, NTT Com announced the acquisition of Secure-24, which was completed April 20th, 2018. Secure-24 delivers managed IT operations, application hosting and comprehensive managed cloud services to enterprises worldwide.

Creating differentiation takes bold moves. As NTT Com executes a smooth and rapid transition in combining forces with Dimension Data and acquiring Secure-24, we will achieve those key differentiations. ISG views both actions as aggressive but is optimistic about the future due to a belief that NTT Com management understands the challenges.
